Experience:
36 yrs experience in the field of Radiology and Imaging.
Experienced teacher in Radiology for teaching undergraduates
and postgraduates. Retired as Professor and Head of the
Department of Radiology and Imaging from Government Medical
College, Trichur. Worked for 5 years as Professor and Head
of the Department Radiology in Private Medical Colleges.
Introduced and popularized Ultrasound as a diagnostic
investigation in Kerala for the first time in 1985. Has been
doing ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures and Doppler
studies for over 20 years.
The first mammography unit with
Sterotactic Biopsy was installed in Medical College, Trichur
when she was working as Professor & HOD Radiology. She have
done over 1000 mammograms and several stereotactic biopsies.
First subsecond CT Scanner was installed in Medical College,
Trichur in 1997 where all types of CT Scan, CT guided
procedures, CT Angiography and HR CT was regularly
undertaken.
Fellowships and Training
Commonwealth fellowship – United Kingdom for one year
advanced training in Clinical applications of Ultrasound,
Ultrasound guided procedures Magnetic Resonance Imaging,
Computerised Tomography, Neuroradiology, Angiography and
Interventional Radiology- Trained in Newcastle General
Hospital, Princess Mary Maternity Hospital, Western
Infirmary, New Castle upon Tyne and Nottinghan in UK.
Special Training
Training in Mammography and Stereotactic Biopsy in Singapore
General Hospital, Singapore.
Training in Interventional sonography, Foetal Therapy and
Interventional Radiology in the Institute of Interventional
Radiology and cardiology, OSAKA, Japan.

Published 7 papers in the National Journals
Published one paper in Internet.
Conference attended:
Attended and presided in National conferences several times.
Worked as President of the Kerala State Branch of the Indian
Radiological Association.

Kerala, University of Madras and Madurai University.
